Blocked drains – tenants, don’t flush wet wipes!

If you have been watching BBC Breakfast recently, we are pretty sure you’ve seen the film on the serious effects so called ‘flushable wipes’ have on drains. If you haven’t, take a look at the below video. If you are eating, we suggest waiting until you’ve finished!

One our main reasons for making a post about this, other than to make you throw up(!), is to warn our tenants. It’s important to note that if the cause of a blocked drain is from wet wipes, nappies, etc. then please be aware that it’s in the landlord’s right to ask for the tenant to pay any fees to unblock the drain.
