Loft and cavity wall insulation

Loft and cavity wall insulation, as I am sure you are aware, is a substantial solution within the home towards the reduction in heating costs for your tenants particularly during the colder months as well as improving the energy efficiency of your property.

At this present time, the Government are running an initiative for loft and cavity wall insulation and it is being funded through the current Energy Efficiency programme and the Green Deal.

It is evident that some private tenants qualify for loft and cavity wall insulation free of charge, with no additional costs to the Landlords. Edison Ford is currently working with A & M Insulations Ltd, who are an approved contractor.  A & M have already carried out loft and cavity wall insulation at some of our managed properties and the results and feedback received from our tenants has been positive. Some tenants have had a reduction of up to £30 per month on their direct debit payments for gas and electricity.

Edison Ford can confirm that the work will be funded through the above scheme (as long as the tenants qualify) being run by the Government and all monies are accessed through the appropriate Energy retailer e.g. A & M Insulations.
